Head of Special Economic Zones

Purpose

The Head of SEZ will ensure adherence to regulatory measures and incentives enacted in order to attract domestic and foreign investment, revenue generation, creation of jobs and international competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of SEZ procedures
  • Preparation of Management and Board reports
  • Identify infrastructure development opportunities aligned to the SEZs initiatives and process all land use and development proposals for approval

    Special Economic Zones Manager

    Purpose

    The SEZ Manager is primarily responsible for management of SEZ applications.

    Middle Office Manager

    Purpose

    The Middle Office Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of ZIDA’s strategic goals by ensuring the smooth functioning of the Middle Office. This position reports to and works with the Chief Operating Officer in collaborating with wider internal and external stakeholders to structure, promote, mobilize, and deliver both local and foreign investment into Zimbabwe.

  • Assist the Chief Operating Officer to design, develop and implement a strategic risk framework to support the Front and Back offices

    Special Economic Zones Analyst

    Purpose

    SEZ Analyst is primarily responsible for preparation and analysis of SEZ project documents.

  • Analysis of SEZ Project Applications

    Investment Analyst

    Purpose

    The Investment Analyst designs, develops and implements a strategic framework to support General Investment across Zimbabwe.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external clients on investment analysis matters
  • Assist the Head General Investments in delivering ZIDA’s General Investments products and services
  • Engage in regular research and market insight to stay appraised of the Zimbabwean economy, regional and African economic landscape, global financial markets, and general current events as they affect ZIDA and the wider investment climate

    Graduate Trainee ICT

    Purpose

    The Graduate Trainee ICT Department is an on-the-job training role wherein the incumbent receives coaching and mentorship from the Head ICT with a view towards producing a well-polished, confident and experienced ICT professional upon completion of the program.

    Key Responsibilities

  • ICT Call/Fault Recording: Ensure that all ICT calls are logged, assigned to ICT personnel, and resolved on time. This will allow the student to learn ICT issues and ICT operations quickly
  • ICT First Line Support: Fixing of ICT hardware faults including but not limited to printers, desktops, laptops, telephone handsets, cameras, and network related faults
  • ICT Projects: Assist in any assigned ICT project including Project Documentation, Software design, Programming, Systems Customisation, and Project Testing
